Citizenship program made Dominica the fastest growing economy in Latin-America

The citizenship by investment program and the booming tourism helped Dominica to become the fastest growing economy in Latin-America and the Caribbean, according to the UN.

A recent report by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) from the United Nations indicated the island nation's GDP jumped by nine per cent in 2019. "Construction activity increased across all ECCU economies", but it was especially notable in Dominica. "The robust performance of the tourism sector, as well as the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programmes and public sector-fuelled construction activity, were primary drivers of ECCU-wide GDP growth in 2019," the ECLAC report notes.

The Dominican Citizenship by Investment Program was ranked as number one in 2017, 2018 and 2019 in the CBI Index, a publication by the Financial Times' PWM (Professional Wealth Management) magazine.

And it is not a coincidence that the small Caribbean Paradise country offers one of the most stable and affordable citizenship solutions. The reasons behind the success of the "CIP" are the stable democracy and political system with great and always developing diplomatic relations. Moreover, the promising economic future and the trustworthy business environment guarantees that the wealthy applicants for citizenship can plan their future.
